LEADERSHIP COACHING TESTIMONIALS

Vice Principal | Atlanta, GA

I have been a manager and leader for over 5 years now; however, my scope of responsibilities has increased exponentially this year. In order to grow, it has been crucial that I not only request feedback, but that also I give feedback. At times it can be tough, especially when it can lead to a difficult conversation. Our time spent practicing key points and role-playing gave me the confidence to communicate more effectively.

Former Principal, Current System Level Leader | Houston, Texas

Seeing my strengths was eye-opening. Two of my strengths are learner and input- these two areas, along with my coaching, definitely impacted my leadership. I have taken specific strategies I've learned through my coaching and implemented them during my own coaching sessions with teachers, as well as during leadership retreats with my own leadership team.

School Principal & Non Profit Executive |  Memphis, TN

I was also to approach the problem by speaking in the communication style of the leaders at the table. I also leveraged AI frequently to start from a positive place and create a shared vision for the work ahead. My SHE coach helped me to understand how to build a relationship with the person through their lens of communication. Being a part of this community has been life changing! I look forward to being a part of future events.

School Principal | Boston, MA

I became more intentional about my decision-making, I also became more straight-forward with addressing things that weren’t in alignment with our values or hindered my & my leadership team's growth, and most importantly I've learned to focus more on my strengths & less on my deficits. At the very beginning of the program, I had to have an uncomfortable conversation with my AP about microaggressions I felt he was exhibiting, one of which was missing in-person scheduled leadership team meetings. Through my SHE program development, I was able to address the situation head-on, bring the concern to my APs attention, and clearly outline my expectations for him & our team moving forward. As a result, my AP began attending meetings in person & our working relation is making significant progress.

I was able to turn-key strategies, and approaches every week that allowed me to grow in my leadership. At the beginning of the program, I was having difficulty walking in my power. With the groups feedback and affirming conversations, my confidence has increased. I am owning my role, and I have stopped second guessing myself.

School Principal, Boston, MA

I will use the same difficulty from above. I am a person who does not like conflict or confrontation. However, I learned from a mentor of mine: "What you don't address, you bless". The SHE program & coach impacted my approach to this challenge by coaching me, building me up, and leading me to the tools to address my AP & his microaggressions/missing meetings. As a result, my AP began attending meetings in person & our working relation is making significant progress.

Director of Communications | Paterson, NJ

For today’s session I shared that I’ve been feeling overwhelmed and not sleeping. Between the workload, pandemic, social unrest, and loss of a student, things have been weighing heavy on me. My coach advised me on the importance of “the oxygen mask” and making sure I take time for myself so that I don’t get burned out. She also guided me on utilizing my calendar to block off times for my Big Rocks to ensure I am giving myself time to finish projects and also set boundaries. We also discussed my strengths from the Gallup Assessment which we will continue tonight during our Group Call.

School Principal, Boston, MA

The water challenge was AMAZING! My water bottle provided by TPF is now attached to my hip, and I have recognized the benefits of consistent water intake. I also appreciated the idea of informing your team & cafeteria about nutrition goals, so that they ensure I eat even when I'm busy; luckily, my school provides free lunch to everyone, so I have been eating that way when/if I forget lunch. I have not been as intentional about movement, but I do track my steps/movement with my Apple watch, and I look to include a workout regimen into my lifestyle soon. Lastly, self-care has been a long-time thing for me. Hair, nails, massages, or even just a self-date & dinner night are essentials to managing stress & self-care.

Assemblywoman, Director of Curriculum and Instruction | Newark, NJ

Proud to stand here before you as a former principal, and now Director of Curriculum Instruction, because in the women's leadership, she has taught me to continue striving to be the best, and with that, I can in turn, give the students the best that they deserve. So not only am I the Director of Curriculum and Instruction, on Tuesday, November 7, I will be the next Assemblywoman for the state of New Jersey. And I wouldn't be here without the support and the resources that Pavon Firm has given me throughout my leadership, coaching time. I could not say enough about Noemi and her firm and allowing me to learn from her to gain the knowledge and the skills to become the best leader that I could be. Noemi encouraged me to embrace my unique qualities. And in turn, I was able to lead a team to be one of the best high school in the state of New Jersey. So, again, if I can say anything, if you need to be coached, if you need a leadership coach, seek The Pavon Firm.
